Bela Wagner was the Chief Accountant in the JDC’s office in Budapest, Hungary after World War II. He and his co-worker Imre Junger lost their lives in an automobile accident in 1947 while on official JDC business.

Bela Wagner, born in 1902, was the Chief Accountant in the JDC’s office in Budapest, Hungary after World War II. On May 16, 1947, while on official JDC business together with his co-worker Imre Junger, he was involved in a fatal automobile accident. He died of his injuries two days later. Wagner was survived by his widow and a nine-year-old daughter.
He is buried in the Kozma cemetery in Budapest, plot 1B, Row 21, Grave 39.
