Julie Dawson Lectures on Jewish Life in Postwar Romania

In this lecture, Julie Dawson, a recipient of the 2022 Fred and Ellen Lewis/JDC Archives Fellowship takes a microhistorical approach to examine and illuminate the experience of Jewish survivors in Romania during the immediate postwar decades, using the recently discovered diary of a young woman originally from Bukovina, Blanka Lebzelter.
